Founded in Syracuse, New York Nickels Energy Solutions was founded by Steve and Kevin Nickels – two brothers born and raised in Syracuse, NY. Steve developed a passion for renewable energy while earning his Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). As the company President, Steve manages the design and installation of residential, commercial and ground mounted solar installations. Kevin graduated from Le Moyne College and has worked as a sales professional in Central New York since 2013. Kevin manages the Sales and Marketing activity for Nickels Energy Solutions as the company’s Vice President. Steve and Kevin are supported by a combination of full-time employees and part-time employees (and local interns!) that manage the company’s growing design, sales and solar installation needs.
